Skool Community Index: November 2026 Data

The median Skool community in our file charges $47 a month and holds 362 members. Those figures come from 627 communities we documented between 27 July 2026 and 15 October 2026, and the tables below break them down by niche. It is a sample, not a census, and each figure was true on the date its source post checked it.

How was the Skool Community Index built?

We read the facts box of every community post on The Skool Files with a script, then reviewed by eye every post showing more than one price or member figure. Each room contributes one headline monthly price and one member count, and each figure carries the date the post states it was checked, or the post's publish date if it states none.

Four limits apply to everything below.

• It is a sample. Skool does not publish how many communities exist. These are rooms we chose to write about, drawn largely from Skool's leaderboards and Discovery list, so the sample leans toward communities that earn or trend.
• Dates differ. A figure read on 27 July 2026 and one read on 15 October 2026 sit in the same table. Prices and rosters change, so no room is presented as it stands today.
• One price per room. Where a room lists several tiers we use the headline price in the facts box. Rooms with a free front door count as free, even with a paid upgrade inside.
• Exclusions. We left out placeholder prices such as a $100,000 or $10,000 join button on a closed room. We also left out 10 recent posts still waiting on an independent source check, and one community this site has promoted in its own calls to action.

Nothing here should be read as a free-versus-paid share of Skool, because we did not sample rooms at random.

How much do Skool communities cost by niche?

Median price varies by more than the overall figure suggests. The table uses the niche label filed on each post, which is usually one of Skool's nine categories.

Eight narrower topics have their own ranked lists. Each one names every community, its price and its check date.

How are Skool community prices distributed?

309 of the 498 monthly prices in our file are under $50 (62.0%), and 440 are under $100 (88.4%). The middle half run from $22.25 to $74.75. For comparison, the table adds our separate 7 September 2026 pull of Skool Discovery, which recorded 768 monthly prices on one day with a median of $39.

The lowest stated monthly price in the index is $1 and the highest is $1,700. Discovery's top price on 7 September was $1,950.

Do cheaper Skool communities have more members?

In this sample, yes. Rooms charging under $20 a month have a median of 518 members, and rooms charging $100 or more have a median of 252. The 25 free rooms with a member count have a median of 849. This shows association only: the sample was not random, and a large free or cheap room says nothing about how many members are active or paying.

How many members does a Skool community have?

The median room in this index holds 362 members, and the middle half hold 141 to 865. That is higher than the median of 206 across all 1,000 rooms in our 7 September Discovery pull, where the middle half held 64 to 532, which fits a sample that leans toward leaderboard communities.

Which Skool communities are the largest in the index?

These are the 15 largest rooms we have documented. Discovery showed a room with 164,579 members on 7 September 2026, so this is not a list of the largest on Skool.

Does Skool Discovery show the highest-earning communities?

Not fully. On 7 September 2026, only 57 of the 100 highest-earning communities on Skool's public leaderboard appeared in the 1,000 rooms Discovery returned. The 43 absent rooms accounted for $5,293,632 of the top 100's combined $11,369,532 a month, or 46.6%. A list built only from Discovery would miss them, which is one reason this index also draws on leaderboard rooms. Is the Skool Community Index a full count of Skool?

No. It covers 627 communities we documented, chosen largely from Skool's leaderboards and Discovery. Skool does not publish a total, so no share of the whole platform can be drawn from it.

Which Skool niche charges the most?

Among niches with at least 10 rooms in the index, Tech has the highest median price. The table above shows every niche, and the figures reflect the rooms we covered, not all rooms on Skool.

How old is the data?

Each figure is dated by its source post, and the oldest is from 27 July 2026. This edition was compiled on 5 November 2026 from those posts. We did not re-check any room for this page.

Does any community pay to be included?

No community pays to appear in this index or in any ranked list here. The Skool sign-up button on this site carries an affiliate link, which has no effect on these figures.
